The interactive installation ORB_GLOW thematises the relationship between people and the (surrounding) world. The audience is invited to actively interact with the work. The audiovisual installation uses a discarded weather balloon as a formal reference and mental projection surface for the concept of EARTH. Animations bring the globe and the diversity of nature to life, while generative sound interactions emphasise the experience.
Using a real-time mirror image generated with AI, viewers can help shape the meaning of the GLOBUS live and comment on various aspects of current world events. The installation was designed and realised by CIM on the occastion of the Licht.Kunst.Nacht Ravensburg 2024.
