Temporary laser installation on prominent local buildings.

Ravensburg is the self-proclaimed city of historical towers and gates. However, many of these buildings need to be renovated in the coming years. To raise awareness for an on-going fundraising campaign to support these renovations, CIM teamed up with Bürgerstifung Ravensburg to develop a concept for temporary laser installations across town.

 

The minimal design concept employs sharp lines of light moving across the three-dimensional shapes of the towers. The design literally highlights the detailed and elaborate characteristics these historical towers exhibit. The project started in June 2025, with ongoing temporary installations at public events in summer/autumn 2025.
